the display
This is one of the orchids I put out with the staghorn fern. After the blooms quit I un-potted it to find there were no viable roots, so we are hoping it will recover outside.

Agave
Down in the desert southwest there are many types of agave, this one happens to be a variegated version growing in the red rocks.

different angle same church
This is not the front on view in the mandala but still a version of the Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona Arizona. I love that it is built into the rocks. Grounded.

Chapel of the Holy Cross in Sedona, AZ
This is a hard building to photograph, because the best view of the whole building is from right below and there is really not much parking there. We were lucky - all you need is one space - which we found. The building is a big box with a cross in the window, simple but beautiful. I had one judge at photo club say why make it a circle it would stand just as well as a single shot. So I'll let you judge, I'll post the original shot tomorrow.

Another Temporary fairy garden
Fairy Henge with a small star fish, sheet moss over the dirt holding the stones up and the Scarlet Pimpernel Fairy who was sitting. Since there were no plants except the small one in back - there was nothing binding the earth together. So when it slipped off the stair in my window well greenhouse - that was the end of this garden. I think the fun of creating it is the best part anyway so I will try something different with the stones next (after our snow melts).

My Beach Bowl
The beach in a bowl with more sand, some glass 'water' elements and a rock of Sea Jasper tucked on the edge. Putting the Sea Jasper back in the sea and the bowl is round! Anyhow had fun doing it.

Coffee Pot Rock
A different view of Coffee Pot Rock, looks more like a rock kachina in this version. We were in the residential area just below the formation, looking up.

marmots
Marmots like to sit on top of rocks, caught this one sitting in the light - I really liked the lichen patterns on the rock, too, they take up most of the picture.
