This is a hard building to photograph, because the best view of the whole building is from right below and there is really not much parking there. We were lucky - all you need is one space - which we found. The building is a big box with a cross in the window, simple but beautiful. I had one judge at photo club say why make it a circle it would stand just as well as a single shot. So I'll let you judge, I'll post the original shot tomorrow.

- Taking pictures has been second nature to me for 40 years. Being in the right place at the right time to take advantage of the light, Light is important. With light we see, we see where we are in relation to our surroundings and the world at large, thus my business name “To See the Light”. Ever since I was a kid handed my first cardboard kaleidoscope, circular visions seen through the eyepiece intrigued me. When the camera was first invented the image produced was round, seen through a round lens. Camera lens are still round, but the area of exposure is a rectangle. The advent of digital photography and computers enables me to manipulate pie pieces of my images to create my circular visions, my Mandalas. Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning center and circle, the circle is a complete shape representing wholeness. I love the wonderful patterns formed in the center of my mandalas
