fish eye

Sometimes the oddest things grab my attention. There were these ceramic fish in a bowl that formed an interesting pattern, so I took a picture. We put our pond to bed for the winter and lost a koi in the process. Oh well.

flower bouquet

Now that we have had our first hard frost my flowers will come from floral bouquets. All flowers are beautiful!

Cabbage Colors

Liked the pastel blues and greens in these cabbage leaves.

Square Water Lily tile

Every so often I like to try the 'tile' format.  This is a reflection but its hard to tell.  The thin 6 sided shape in the middle is the water surface with lily pads but it doesn't read well as a reflection. And the pattern comes out as a circle more than a square. Try again - still interesting.

Blue Morning Glory

This has been one of my favorite mandala, it is a square tile with several buds of the blue morning glory that climbed around my back door one year.   Hope you have enjoyed the variety of shapes in the Morning Glory series.

Rat Tail Cactus

My rat tail cactus does not bloom regularly so it is a treat when it does, as it did this spring. It is a bright pink flower. I'm going to print some of my mandala on tiles, should be interesting and functional. When the web site is working you may order and buy tile mandala.
