Art Show at Tri-Lakes c

The show at the Tri-Lakes Art Center will be up for viewing July 2 until August 23, 2019. The Center is located at 305 Hwy 105 in the town of Palmer Lake, CO. A reception will be held Friday July 12 from 6 pm until 8 pm. There is a section "For the Love of Andi" honoring my friend Andi Sahlen's photography. She was my photo buddy. We went to the Denver Botanic Gardens many times to take pictures of the flowers. She will be missed.

We had our opening last night, two people sold work. Show will be up thru August 24th. Got a nice drive thru pasture land on the way down.

Aloe Bloom

The Desert Botanical Gardens in Tucson had several aloe blooming.  It was much warmer down there - here in Colorado, we are going to get another Polar Vortex round with snow and cold this weekend.  I am grateful we are just on the edges of the cold and it warms up in between.  The Parkview show was very successful for me.  I sold 3 framed pictures, one of the ruffled white amaryllis mandala in previous blog entry.

Shows for the end of Summer

I have 3 mandalas in the Artist Member Group show at the Depot in Steamboat Springs, CO. It was a rainy weekend - its monsoon season. I helped set up, and stayed long enough at the opening to enjoy some of the home made food the other artists brought.
