Have been cloud watching lately. Saw a dragon cloud on edge of this mandala. There is plenty of time to cloud watch but not today as there is a freezing rain at the moment. It has been nice to get out in the yard and watch spring come to my backyard! Small pleasures in our lock down life.

- Taking pictures has been second nature to me for 40 years. Being in the right place at the right time to take advantage of the light, Light is important. With light we see, we see where we are in relation to our surroundings and the world at large, thus my business name “To See the Light”. Ever since I was a kid handed my first cardboard kaleidoscope, circular visions seen through the eyepiece intrigued me. When the camera was first invented the image produced was round, seen through a round lens. Camera lens are still round, but the area of exposure is a rectangle. The advent of digital photography and computers enables me to manipulate pie pieces of my images to create my circular visions, my Mandalas. Mandala is a Sanskrit word meaning center and circle, the circle is a complete shape representing wholeness. I love the wonderful patterns formed in the center of my mandalas
