orchid cross

Several spikes of a white and purple orchid come together with their buds in the center of this Celtic cross. Went to the Botanic Gardens to see the orchids and this was a very prolific one, multiplied. Enjoy!

blue and a touch of red

On a cold snowy day play with your pictures. Took a recent trip to the Denver Botanic Gardens to see the orchids, but there are other flowers blooming as well. I liked the touch of red in this blue flower mandala!

geranium

The purple color of this is a geranium makes it for me and the crown around the middle. We had a freeze last night, but the sun is shining in a bright blue sky today! Enjoy the day.

A Spring flower again - a pansy. Weather is in the 50s here while the East Coast gets hammered with snow and cold. Crazy times in the weather department. Belated Happy New Year greetings.

Grape Hyacinths

Grape Hyacinths remind me of Spring! Now that we are in the dead of winter I would like to be reminded that there is hope for warmer weather, and plants coming to life again after the cold. Guess I should dig out the seed catalogues. Almost the New Year!
