Last of the lights

The Holiday Lights come down after the Stock Show is over.  So these lights at the Botanic Gardens are down now.  The purple lights were reflected in a stream and on the snow.  The picture really only works when it is lit up by the computer.  I printed one off and it does not have the luminescence of it's computerized version.

Red Flower and seed

From one of my trips to the Denver Botanic Gardens - a red flower and seedpod. 

I continue to like the star shaped Mandala, the star rests on it's two downward facing points and reaches to the sky above.  It was a lovely day in the 50's today, took the dog for a walk at the off leash area.

Hoar Frost

Hoar Frost is one of those things that happen on cold days. It's beautiful and sparkles in the sunlight.
