Taking down some Christmas ornaments, the sun was reflecting off a plastic crystal star, so I took a couple pictures. Above is a mandala of one, I'll post the original picture tomorrow.

Christmas Flowers

A Christmas cactus with petals folded back, pistil and stamen pointed toward the center. The flowers brighten up the winter season. It sort of reminds me of a laser focused at the center but it really is just flower parts!

ice and very cold weather

We just had a record setting -18 degrees for a low last night. The ice on the pond is solid. The heater and bubbler for the fish weren't enough to heep a hole open in the ice. The mandala is made with ice patterns from the pond.

lights

Lights, snow and candy canes making a heart. We have some snow on the ground and it feels a lot like Christmas. This has been an interesting year. Hope you have enjoyed another year of circles/mandalas I'm puttting a book of mandalas and quotes together. It's not to hard to learn how online.

snow!

It's snowing here. All day. The flakes are just gently sifting down at the moment. It is very cold also, only 14! This is Thursday and Tuesday it was 70 degrees and shritsleeve weather. Oh, well, it's December and it's suppose to snow and be cold. In an earlier snow it accumulated on the branches and berries of this bush.
